Elegant Entertainment is a new and innovative entertainment company formed by Simon Greenhill and Craig Adams. Both hail from the North of England, Simon from Yorkshire and Craig from Lancashire. As you would expect, despite the geographical and historical differences, which remains a talking point between the pair today, they have been exceptionally good friends over the past 12 years.
They met when they both emigrated down South to the ‘big smoke’ to further their studies at Drama School. During this time their careers have intertwined and both have experienced the excitement of life as a professional Actor. Both have been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the Industries more weird and wonderful people, performed in thousands of different Theatres, Stadiums, Film and Television Sets and places that can only be described as ‘a space’ in many different corners of the World. They count themselves Thankful and realise they are some of the lucky few people in life to have fulfilled their childhood ambitions.
As such, challenges and boundaries change and life becomes more exciting.
Having performed many different Cabarets, One Man Shows and surprise acts for a wide variety of different audiences, both private and corporate functions, Simon and Craig felt that, despite the obvious quality of other corporate entertainment companies, there was a gap in the market for tailoring entertainment to a particular audience. Their research found that, when asked, the vast majority of corporate events planners were unable to find a completely tailored act, only diluted versions of existing acts, which are basically the same as the thousands of performances given previously.
With this inspiration and exciting fresh approach, Elegant Entertainment have created an amazing product, which has massive benefits, and not only for the audiences who will be desperate to see The Acts again and again, but for the Clients who can relax knowing the entertainment is in safe hands and the Performers who come to each event facing a new and vibrant challenge.
Having won the ‘Cameron Mackintosh Scholarship’ to study at Mountview Academy, not only did Craig excel in all aspects of performing, but he is an exceptionally talented Young Musician. Having learned to play the Piano at the age of 3, he has combined a varied career as an Actor in Musicals, such as Mamma Mia, to performing in Shakespeare with writing various Musicals, which have been showcased all over the world. Craig having such faith and passion for live music is the main reason Elegant Entertainment are also focused on bringing back live music to the entertainment scene, particularly surprise entertainment.
Simon is an Actor, Singer, Writer and an Entrepreneur. He won the prestigious scholarship of ‘The Stage’ Newspaper and received funding from The Sir Anthony Hopkins trust which paved the way for his studies to begin. A remarkable achievement considering he was politely declined entry into his school’s sixth form. Having found a way to combine his Intelligence, Knowledge and Creativity with his love of performing for audiences all over the world, bringing Elegant Entertainment to the market place has been his most challenging, yet enjoyable experience yet.
Working alongside Simon and Craig are a vastly experienced and talented group of friends formed along life’s journey to form an incredible troupe of players. Between them they have worked in London’s West End, Broadway, the world of Opera in London and abroad, UK, European and World Tours in a variety of Opera and Musicals.
