Welcome to the July edition of our
monthly newsletter, which will keep you up to date with
everything that’s been going on at Elegant Entertainment. As valued
friends of ours, we hope that with the continuation of our
newsletter including features on some of our regular singers, access
to videos, pictures and blogs and our long awaited launch into the

This month we will be launching our new agency website as well as
looking at one of our new singers as she talks about the highs and
lows of life in the west end and seeing how Simon is getting on with
his rehearsals for his performance with Gareth Gates at The
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.
Elegant Entertainment Agency
was born after years of being asked by our clients to recommend
other good entertainment ideas. We have been very lucky to have
worked with some of the most incredible artistes, musicians, DJ’s,
bands, magicians and many other diverse and wonderful acts and we
have always been in a fortunate position to share them with people.
However, the demand has got so big that it became imperative for us
to work alongside a company specifically there to deal with the
logistics surrounding the booking and performance of multiple acts.
We not only create the perfect entertainment for any event, but, we
take care of what goes on behind the scenes, such as the lighting

Simon and Gareth Gates
As you may be aware from previous newsletters, our MD, Simon
Greenhill is to star in a Concert With Gareth Gates at The
Wolverhampton Grand theatre on Sunday 18th July. They will
be joined by Christopher Key who is currently the Resident
director of the new touring production of Les Miserables,
having previously been resident Director of Avenue Q and
been in Les Miserables and The Beautiful Game in London,
Lucy Cound who played Maria in the UK tour of West Side
Story and A Midsummer nights dream and Gemma O’Duffy who is
currently in the UK tour of Les Miserables, having
previously been in Footloose, We Will Rock You and Spring
Awakening. Gareth shot to fame on Pop Idol and as well as
having released several successful albums has been on
Dancing on Ice, been in Joseph and the amazing technicolour
dreamcoat and is currently playing marius on the UK tour of
les miserables. They will be joined by local school children
who will perform alongside them with songs from shows such
as Les Mis, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, West Side
Story, Wicked and many more.

Rachel trained at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts before
attending the Royal Academy of Music where she graduated with
distinction. Theatre credits include Johanna in Sweeney Todd
(Greater London Tour), Maria in West Side Story (Tobacco Factory)
and Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Redgrave Theatre). Rachel has numerous
television and radio credits to her name and is currently starring
in Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, marking
her West End debut.

Jennifer Tierney – Star of Wicked !
To
star at Woodside
Regular Leading Ladies and Wicked star
Jennifer Tierney is to star at a charity function at
Woodside in Essex on 17th July 2010. The last two years have
been a massive success with IL Voci Celesti, leading ladies
and Gareth Gates having performed to critical acclaim.
Having just opened in the new cast of Wicked, Jenny was
proud to have been part of a show that recently scooped most
popular musical – the audience award, at the Olivier’s
recently.

Simon
Sings for his Supper
Simon is soon to be performing at the Wolverhampton Grand in
a one off show supporting local performing arts on Sunday
18th July 2010. He is not only singing a favourite song of
his – the beautiful and moving ‘Bui Doi’ from Miss Saigon
but he will be performing along side Gareth Gates. The pair
has a lot in common; both coming from Yorkshire and both
having sang Karaoke a few years ago at the end of a charity
function when the drinks had been flowing. Good luck boys.

Craig
Adams – Ghosts of the past at The Aberdeen Festival
Craig will be taking the sequel of his vampire musical The
Watchers to this summer’s Aberdeen Festival with Youth Music
theatre UK. Following last years successful outing in
Bradford, Craig has again linked up with YMT:UK for them to
perform Ghosts of the past at The Aberdeen Arts Centre. For

Sorrelle and
Alex are still Legally Blonde
Alex Gaumond who is playing Emmett Forrest and Sorrelle
Marsh who is covering Jill halfpenny are still wowing the
audiences at London’s Savoy Theatre and have just been
joined by Richard Fleeshman who has taken over the role of
Warner Huntington III from Duncan James. The entire cast
were treated to a unique performance from Duncan and his
fellow ex Blue band mates, as they performed their classics
at the after show party. Various celebrities and
well-wishers to celebrate Duncan’s last show joined the cast
including Sheridan Smith.
Thinking of throwing that 50th Birthday party, a charity ball,
surprising your wife for your 25th wedding anniversary or even your
daughter and son in law on their special day. Whatever the event,
