Arias Anonymous bring Love to the Valentines Make-A-Wish Ball...

This year’s Make-A-Wish Valentine’s Ball, attended by actress and TV presenter Angela Griffin and other celebrity guests, was held at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Saturday.

Also among the 400 guests were singer Anthony Costa of boy band Blue, TV presenter Anthea Turner, snooker player turned commentator Willie Thorne and CBeebies star Mr Tumble, aka Justin Fletcher.  Not only was it great to receive an amazing standing ovation in one of London’s finest venues, but to be a part of such an incredibly worthwhile evening was a privilege.

STRICTLY FEVER AT WENTWORTH !

Our incredible debut cast of performers included Ewan Gillies, Hannah Fairclough, Nicky Griffiths, Tim Bonser and Sally O’Brien. The show was choreographed by Steven Paling, who is the current resident director of the global smash hit Mamma Mia!  in London and the World tour.

We will be interviewing Steven next month about how he starts to create something as new and avant-garde as Strictly Anonymous and what it’s like looking after the world’s biggest show – Mamma Mia!

See pictures of the dancers below and next month see the video!

BOYS JOIN THE ‘QUINS’

Harlequins and Samoan international Tani Fuga celebrating his Testimonial year in style at the Hurlingham club in London, asked Elegant to provide the entertainment for the dinner. The event was organized by Sporting class (www.sportingclass.com) and included the traditional Samoan Haka, was hosted by Rhodri Williams and England international Nick Easter, with the entire Quins squad present, current internationals – Danny Care and Ugo Monye and past players included Jason Leonard (most capped England player) Andy Gommersall and Dan Luger.

The highlight of the evening was saved for the end of the act when the boys stripped down to reveal ‘Quins’ tops that had been customized to say “Tani, 2 good to be true”, as they performed the classic Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You (Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons). Needless to say a very good night was had by all. Here’s to a great year for Tani, a great guy.

LOUISE DEARMAN joins the cast of “WICKED”

Leading Ladies regular Louise Dearman joins the cast of ‘Wicked’ at the end of March to take over playing the coveted lead role of Glinda – the good Witch. She is joining another Leading Ladies regular Jennifer Tierney who is staying on to reprise her role as Glinda’s side-kick and understudy to Madame Morrible.

Watch out for an interview with both Leading Ladies in the coming months.

THE SKY’S THE LIMIT FOR CRAIG

Craig eventually got to be a pilot – but only for the day!
Singing at the Concorde Exhibition centre at Manchester Airport posing as a British Airways Concorde Pilot dressed in the official uniform was a huge career highlight for Craig at the beginning of the month. As part of the event he was taken on a guided tour onboard the actual Concorde which flew royalty all over the world and was one of the last flights to leave New York in October 2003. But the most incredible moment was singing Nessun Dorma underneath one of the most iconic pieces of Engineering of the past Century.
